Zero Carbon Gasoline

A gallon of gas produces 20 lbs of carbon dioxide (CO2) when it is burned.  In total, over 2 billion tons more carbon dioxide are added to the atmosphere each year than are removed. This is a fact, and it is known to be destabilizing the climate of the planet. I believe there is a very simple solution to the growing amount of carbon being added to the atmosphere. After putting the carbon in the atmosphere, we can just take the carbon back out! Removing those same 20lbs of carbon dioxide produced from burning a gallon of gas costs only $0.15 at today’s prices!  I believe this is a great opportunity for gas stations to charge more than that cost to offer consumers ZERO CARBON GASOLINE. There are many areas where customers would pay for gas that in effect emitted less carbon than an electric car!
